This edition of the DFO Magazine explores Gabriel’s Secret Shop, and the new Character Linking System.
Secrets are being revealed one by one!
Only a few have travelled past the City of God or braved the unknown mysteries of the Otherverse. And fewer still have lived to tell of their travels, much less bring back relics and mementos from lands long forgotten by time. All this has changed with Gabriel, the Treasure Hunter – an enigmatic Soldier of Fortune who sells some of the most rare and hard-to-find treasures in all of Arad!

Not only does Gabriel randomly appear in dungeons, but the items that he sells changes at random too! If you see something you like, grab it before it’s too late!

> Cube Fragments & Stone Fragments
Depending on the dungeon level, the Cube and Stone Fragments that Gabriel offers changes accordingly.
> Unique & Rare Items
Hidden deep within his store are Unique and Rare Items!
> Lv. 60 Unique Recipes
Not only does Gabriel sell Unique Items, but he also sells Unique Recipes!
> Magic Stone & Sub-Equipment!
Gabriel also sells pots that contain Magic Stones and Sub-Equipment Items. Raise and grant various stats!

Do you have a character on your account that’s level 60 or higher?
If you do, link your characters to level your other characters faster!
This new system enables you to link a lv. 60 character or higher to a lv. 40 or lower character. As the lower-level character plays through dungeons, it will receive bonus EXP and Gold!
If you ever wondered how different the fighting style is between a Striker and a Nen Master, or if you want to create a different class altogether, now’s your chance! Leveling has never been this easy!
On the Character Selection Screen, a “LINK” icon will appear on characters level 60 and higher. Only characters lv. 60+ can initiate a link to a character lv. 40 or lower.
Linked characters will appear next to each other on the Character Selection Screen.
Although only 2 characters can be linked at a time, you can switch who you’re linked to however many times you want!
If you want to change who your higher-level character is linked to, simply click on the “link” icon and choose another character to link with.
> What happens when your character reaches level 41?
When the lower-level character reaches level 41, the “link” icon will change color. If you do not manually unlink your characters, these two characters will remain linked together until the system automatically unlinks them when the lower-level character reaches lv. 60. Remember, a character must be lv. 40 or below to link with a higher-level character. If you want to retain the bonus EXP and Gold, it’s better not to unlink your characters, and let the system automatically unlink them when the lower-level one reaches 60.
Only characters lv. 40 or below can link to a higher character! If you have a lv. 60+ character, link your characters before you reach lv. 41!
> Bonus dungeon clear EXP and Gold! - Linking your characters will grant bonus dungeon clear EXP and Gold to the lower-level character. Level up faster, and gain more dungeon Gold as well!
