Item Shop

Item Guides

  • What is the Item Shop?

In the Item Shop you can use NX (rather than Gold) to purchase a variety of items. Each item has a highly unique function; so stop by and browse the wares!

  • Entering the Item Shop

There are 2 ways to open the Item Shop screen:

    1. Click “Item Shop” in the Service Menu at the bottom of the screen.
    2. Press the shortcut “T” on your keyboard.
  • Using the Item Shop

Here you can browse all kinds of items, from potions that restore HP and MP, to Safe expansions, and Contracts that allow you to reset your Skill Points!

Special event packages can be found on the Special “On Sale” tab, and avatars can be found on the Avatars tab. For more information on avatars, visit the Avatars section of the Item Shop sub page.

  • What are Avatars?

Avatars customize your character, and provide not only additional stat boosts, but bonus dungeon clear EXP as well. In the Item Shop, you can customize the color and the stat option and create an entire set custom built by You for Your character!

  • Why get Avatar Items?

Avatar items are a way to stand out in the crowded streets, in the action-packed dungeons, and especially in the PvP Arena. Also, each avatar item has a stat boost attributed to it. See the Avatar tab for a list of available items and their possible boosts.

  • How to customize your Avatars

    1. Navigate to the Item Shop, and select the Avatars tab.
    2. Choose the class and body part for which you want to purchase avatars.
    3. Clicking on the individual avatars will allow you to see how your character will look with it equipped.
    4. Once you've found the style that you want, choose the stat option along with the avatar duration. Currently, you can purchase permanent avatars, or limited duration avatars that will expire in either 30 or 90 days.

When you get avatars, you can either equip them on your character, or you can sell and trade them with other Dungeon Fighters.

  • How to equip Avatar items

  • In your Inventory window, select the "Avatar" tab. All of the avatar items that you've obtained will appear in the slots below your character. Drag an item into one of the nine slots to the right of your character to equip it.

Again, if you obtain avatar items you don't need, trade with other players to put together the sharpest threads in Arad.

NOTE: You can purchase avatars with NX Prepaid at any time, however in order to purchase with NX Credit, you must have at least 1 character on your account that is at least level 30.

  • What are Emblems?

  • Emblems can be used to raise your avatar stats by equipping them into the socket slots of your avatars. Socket slots can be created on Rare avatars, if they do not already have them, and Advanced avatars can be purchased with slots already on them from the DFO Item Shop. Advanced avatars can have 2 sockets while Rares can have up to 3 sockets. To create a socket slot on an Rare avatar, you must first purchase a Socket Generator from the Emblem NPC: Daphne.

  • Types of Emblems

Avatars have different colored Sockets depending on their rarity and avatar type. There are 5 different types of Sockets that can be created on an avatar:

    • Hair and Hat - Red Sockets
    • Face and Torso - Yellow Sockets
    • Waist and Shoes - Blue Sockets
    • Advanced Top and Bottom - Green Sockets
    • Rare Top and Bottom - Platinum Sockets

Platinum sockets can only be created on Rare or Clone Rare Top and Bottom avatars, and can only accept Platinum Emblems to be equipped into them. The other types of sockets can accept a variation of Emblem types based on their color:

    • Solid Emblem - An single-colored Emblem that can only be equipped into a same-colored Socket.
    • Dual Emblem - An Emblem with 2 colors that can be equipped into a Socket of either color.
    • Prism Emblem - A multi-colored Emblem that can be equipped into any Socket, except Platinum.
    • Platinum Emblem - A Platinum Emblem that can only be equipped into a Platinum Socket.

Aside from their color, Emblems are classified by their rarity according to how they are obtained:

    • Iron - Emblems that can be purchased from Daphne.
    • Bronze - Uncommon grade Emblems that drop in dungeons.
    • Silver - Less Rare Emblems created by Avatar Sundering.
    • Gold - Advanced Rare Emblems created by Avatar Sundering.
    • Platinum - Highly Rare Emblems created by Avatar Sundering or dropped in dungeons.
  • Emblem Week

Emblem Week begins spontaneously in West Coast. When Emblem Week begins, avatar Sundering and Synthesizing functions will be available from the Emblem Machine, located next to Daphne by the entrance to Sky Tower. Sundering allows you to convert existing avatars into Emblems. The Emblems created from Sundering will pertain to the color of the avatar slot that you entered into the machine. Synthesizing allows you to combine 2 Silver or higher grade Emblems for a new one of equal or higher grade.
